Getting Started with BSG Benefit Programs

Plan Administrators - Once your broker has completed New Company Onboarding, providing your program details, contact information and staff list, you will be automatically be sent a Welcome Email. It is important to edit and post Enrollment Info Sheet in staff areas, an editable version will be attached to welcome email.

You sending staff an email/text asking them to add and save Enrollment Team's contact info is also highly recommended.

Please update us on any additional Plan Admins that would like notifications of enrollments, also make sure to keep your information up to date.

Communication to employees will start at the arranged time, determined by you and BSG Broker. Preferably, we will start communication 3-4 days prior to initial enrollment period starting. A series of texts and emails with links to schedule an Initial 1 on 1 with a BSG Inc Health Advisor will be sent to employees over a 7 day period.

  • Note for BSG SWI Programs: Employees will not progress to scheduling an appointment until they review and sign a Statement of Understanding.

  • Once employees schedule a time that is convenient for them, two things will happen.

    1. They will be redirected to review and sign an Agent of Record: Privacy and Consent form.

    2. They will receive an additional information email that is relevant to the Benefit Program type of your organization. It is important that they gather necessary information to be prepared for their meeting.

  • During the Initial Meeting our Health Advisors will work with individuals to shop for health insurance in different markets and with an array of health insurers:

-Health Insurance Marketplace (State or Federal Exchanges)

-Individual Markets

-STM or Short term medical plans

-Medi Share

-Dental and Vision, if applicable

Health advisors will work with them and guide them through the process of shopping and enrolling into a Health Plan. Many cases 1-2 meetings are necessary, Initial meeting is typically sending them quotes and 2nd meeting is usually doing the enrollment application.

*Kentuckey Clients may experience additional delays do to slow response times or KHBE system errors that will require additional meetings. Please be patient through this process.
