Plan Administrators - Beginning in October you will receive communication to schedule your organization's Annual Benefits Review. This where we will update you on changes to your current health market, discuss any adjustments to your benefits program, and introduce new features and products. Annual Benefits Review are not mandatory, let us know if you would like to keep current program the same.
Communication to employees will start in October, this will include our annual benefits survey to help us understand better their needs. In addition, this will help us expidite the enrollment process.
During Open Enrollment, if employees have Marketplace coverage, they will be automatically enrolled in their plan ( or Plan Equivilent) for next year, so they avoid a gap in coverage. They'll get a letter telling them if they'll be automatically enrolled in the same or a equivalent plan.
-If they don't want that plan, they can enroll in a different one by December 15th for a coverage start date of January 1st.
-If you're automatically enrolled and your coverage started, you can still change plans until January 15 (when Open Enrollment ends).
If employees have a plan from outside the state or federal Marketplace-they can expect their renewal date to be different. They can always enroll in a marketplace plan during open enrollment and cancel their other coverages.
Communication goes out via text and email to the currently enrolled employees. Enrollment Survey QR Code sheet will be provided so that you can give to staff/post in common areas. This will prompt them to save the phone number and email.

It is very important that they save this info in their contacts to ensure deliverabilty of critical information.
Once the Open Enrollment Survey is completed, a series of texts and emails with program information and links to schedule an Open Enrollment meeting with a Health Advisor will be sent to employees over a 7 day period.
Note for SWI Programs: Employees will not progress to scheduling an appointment until they review and sign a Statement of Understanding.
During the Open Enrollment Meeting our Health Advisors will work with employees to review their individual health insurance, market updates, make any necessary changes to their cases/applications and assist in shopping options.
Any SWI or ICHRA contributions will be refered back to plan administartors to discuss with the employees.
Once enrollment is completed they will receive a Welcome Email that will have some reminders of best practices and also a link to register themselves for MDLive, our FREE 24/7 telemedicine. They will be able to not only register themselves but all family members in the household regardless of enrollment.
